Improved version of the original uploaded by Yann Le Drezen (red.fish@freesurf.fr).
I have used a lowcut filter (50Hz/6db), EQ boost (2000Hz and above), and a compressor to bring out more of the energy. There are still some flaws, but it definitely is more powerful this way. Good for listening in Ipod etc.

Subject: And what a fine remastering it is
Thank you for doing this.
Sounds a little bit cleaner.

The high-frequency feedback in Gamelan never really bothered me since it was on beat.

Well done.

Subject: Bad tagging
I made a mistake tagging the MP3:s.

The album tag of ”02 Albanian” is different from the rest. So when copying the recording to your iPod, make sure you re-tag it first.
Sorry about that.

There is also a nasty hi-frequency feedback in the first half of ”04 Gamelan part 1” that I forgot to remove. Will fix that a.s.a.p.

Finally: I hope no one think that I am trying to take any credit for making this recording available. This is only a sound process of Yann Le Drezen's original recording, also available at archive.org.

Subject: Thanks for the re-up
Thanks for putting this up as an mp3 so I don't have to mess around with conversions. Great show, not the best quality in some places, but still one of my favourites in the archive. Gamelan is particularly brilliant on this recording and it's worth getting just for that.
